The latest remarks on border protection come in the face of the threat posed by Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Lithuanian and Polish defence ministers called for the “internationalisation” of the protection of the EU and NATO’s eastern border as they toured a stretch of the border fence with Belarus near Vilnius on Monday.
